সরকারি দল আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারন সম্পাদক সেতুমন্ত্রী ওবায়দুল কাদের এখানে সঠিক কথা বলেছেন যে, “প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার উদ্যোগের সামিল হতে হবে”। ওনার এই কথার মানলেই দেশ ও জাতী আজ এই ভয়াবহ মহামারী থেকে রেহাই পেতে পারবে ইনশ’আল্লাহ। তবে একটা কথা বলেছেন সেটা হচ্ছে “আপনার সাহায্যের জন্য শেখ হাসিনাকে সাহায্য করুন’; এখানে আমি বলতে চাই “আপনি নিজেকে সাহায্য করতে চাইলে হাসিনার পাশে থাকুন (মানে হাসিনার নির্দেশ মান্য করুন)”। সাধারন সম্পাদক সাহেব বলেছেন ত্রাণের নামে কোন ধরনের লুটপাট সহ্য করা হবে না... এটা যদিও অনেক শক্ত কথা তারপর এই কথা উনি অনেক বলেছেন কিন্তু শেষ পর্যন্ত তিনি বার বার সহ্য করেন এটাই আমরা দেখে আসছি তাই এবার ওনার বলা দরকার ছিল “ত্রাণ লুটপাট করলে পাছায় বাড়ি দিয়ে প্রকাশ্যে ঝুলিয়ে মারা হবে”। এই কথা শুধু বলেই ওনার খান্ত হলে চলবে না সেটাকে কাজেও পরিণত করতে হবে। তাহলেই ওনার সাঙ্গপাঙ্গরা ভয়ে তাদের লুটপাট কমিয়ে সহ্যের মধ্যে নিয়ে আসবে নয়ত যেভাবে সর্বক্ষেত্রে ডাকাতি করা হচ্ছে সেইভাবেই এখানেও করবে সেটা আমরা ইতিমধ্যে দেখতেও পাচ্ছি। আল্লাহ্‌ আমাদের দেশেকে অসৎ রাজনীতিবিদদের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করুন। আমিন

The COVID-19 lockdown may help Muslims go deeper into Ramadan, which is always a time for reflection and purification. COVID – 19, Will it affect Ramadan? The month of Ramadan are acts of charity and helping those who are less fortunate. Muslims believe this is key to their faith and that there are increased blessings for acts of kindness during the month. This year, curfews and lockdowns imposed in some countries, as well as reduced opening hours, mean that many Muslims will struggle to prepare as usual for the month ahead may be affected. Example - Like my children are already disappointed we won’t be breaking fast in our community Masjid every night and performing the communal Tarawih prayers at the mosque. Many of the world's estimated 1.6 billion Muslims will fast every day. With the spread of Covid-19 impacting millions of people worldwide, the holy month of Ramadan, which is scheduled to begin on or around Thursday 23 April, very sad to see that may look very different this year. Fasting during Ramadan is obligatory. Exemptions are made for children, women who are pregnant, menstruating, nursing and people who are ill or travelling. Those who are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms may not have to fast during Ramadan, if they are not physically able. The spread of Covid-19 will likely stop larger families and groups from gathering, as governments worldwide urge people to physically distance from one another. Looking at epidemiological data from other countries, it’s likely that the pandemic will stretch well into Ramadan during April/May 2020. Authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have decided to suspend Iftar. Tarawih prayers and Itikaf in Masjid Al Haram at present. Looks like all Masjid in Bangladesh must similarly prepare for the very likely possibility of suspending Iftar programs, congregational Tarawih prayers and Eid prayers too, and supporting their communities with alternative services remotely. Now this year, please, please donate at least some extra charity efforts to the organization those who are engaging charitable causes during the holy month.
